Yesteryear Collection

The Provincial Tramways Company originally operated tram systems across the UK. By 1936, renamed the Provincial Traction Company, it was only present as a bus operator in the Gosport area, through its subsidiary The Gosport and Fareham Omnibus Company (so renamed from the Gosport Street Tramways company when their last tram stopped running in 1929). It operated with an emerald green and cream livery. In March 1969 it was taken over by the Wiles Group.
